This four (4) hour fun tour will be your sneak peek into Dominica’s rum, music and tropical rain forests - enjoy cool tropical fruit blends, and have fun to the rhythms of sweet Caribbean music.

From the wharf you will have a scenic drive through our capital, Roseau. Your first stop after this will be in the Roseau Valley – home of Dominica’s lakes, springs and rivers, and other nature sites. Have a fun time and enjoy a swim in the cool clear river, and let this be your introduction to Dominican life. Munch on a selection of cakes and other local coconut-sweet treats flavoured with a range of spice, fruit, and rum dips and toppings. Also sip and enjoy tropical rum punches and fruit blends.

Then you will visit our hot springs for a soak and a chance to rejuvenate and re-charge.

From here it is on to a village sea side bar where you will enjoy the pulsating rhythms of local music. There, you can also dance and sample from a range of alcoholic herbal blends, and learn the secrets to making good Caribbean rum.

This 3 - hour special is the perfect way to end a day in Dominica - local dinner hot off the grill - good music, rum punch and fruit juice, traditional Dominican entertainment – ring games, folk sing-alongs, African drums and dances - all around a bonfire with lots of fun.

This 6- hour tour will allow you to experience Water Village, enjoy its beautiful river and meet its friendly people.

From the wharf, your ride to the Carib territory will take you through some of the finest rainforests in Dominica, and you will get to see why we are the true nature isle.

At Water Village, called Touna Aute in native Kalinago language, you will have a chance to d do so many fun things –walk about the village and visit the homes, and participate in bamboo and Carib reed basket weaving, sugar-cane juice squeezing, cassava bread making, and fruit picking. You will also get a chance to discover the secrets and Kalinago tales of natural healing. Then enjoy roller coaster river tubing Carib Indian style and, swim in the crystal clear river pools.

You will also visit “Warrior Village” our re-creation of the actual huts used in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3.

You will then have a snack in the ‘Karbet’ and enjoy complimentary drinks and traditional Kalinago snacks.

Remember that you are in Water Village, and we encourage you to come prepared with proper walking/water shoes, a towel and swim suit.

This 3.5- hour special will allow you to experience different aspects of Dominican culture and heritage – our lifestyles, history, and mouth watering cuisine.

Join two of Dominica’s hottest culinary experts for a unique food experience where you will have a chance to participate in their local cuisine. Learn how to prepare and present traditional Caribbean dishes, and to create fruit blends from freshly picked fruits. Then have a finger licking meal, where you will taste your efforts.

This 2- part experience begins with a bus ride from the wharf to a mountain home nestled in the tropical rainforest. On arrival you will be welcomed and greeted with a brief introduction on traditional Creole cooking and will have a tour of our kitchen herbal garden where you will see some of the herbs and spices used in local cooking. From here you will participate in our culinary experience, and you are encouraged to participate and get involved in this activity. Following this you will have a sumptuous buffet lunch with desert and fruit juices.

On completion of this you will return to the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth, which marks the conclusion of the tour.

This 2 and a half hour fun adventure will lead you where very few have gone before - through Dominica’s underwater treasures and forests, and will introduce you to nature at its best.

Your experience will start with a short coach ride from the wharf to our marine center, where certified instructors will give a safety briefing and orientation on the use of the snorkeling equipment. From here you will have a 45- minute guided snorkeling tour to one of our southern reefs. Don your mask and go straight into the water and enjoy underwater magic. Explore the beautiful reefs and swim with many species of colorful fish and see a rich assortment of coral and sponge life as never seen before.

Once you complete this aspect of the tour, you head off to the second part of your adventure, for a 20 minute coach tour to the Roseau Valley and through the greenest rainforest stands in the Caribbean, for viewing of the majestic Trafalgar Waterfalls and sulphur springs. Enjoy our picturesque landscapes and exotic flora and fauna.

You will then be served a complimentary drink before heading back to the ship.

This 4.5- hour experience will lead you to Macoucherie, Dominica’s rum capital and to our rum factory which features the only operational water wheel powered sugar cane grinder in the world, and the greatest beach party on our private exclusive beach.

At the wharf you will board your coach for a 30- minute bus ride along the west coast highway to the Macoucherie Estate. Your tour guide will tell you all about local living en route to our first stop.

Upon your arrival at Macoucherie, you will have a chance to experience the culture and heritage of this old slave operated sugar cane plantation. See the old estate machinery at work, and learn the secrets to making the Caribbean’s finest rum, the elixir of Bois Bande, better known as the local power lifter. Sample the range of the Macoucherie line.

From here it is party time on the black sands of the Macoucherie beach and a chance to unwind and have fun. Swim, sun bathe, just chill, get together for beach games, or visit our local bar where the bar tender can serve you an island specialty.
